Former Prime Minister Imran Khan who is incarcerated in Attock Jail after conviction in the Toshakhana case, is being given “B-Class” facilities by the Punjab prisons department, his lawyer and Pakistan tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) alleged, Dawn reported on Monday.
On Saturday, the Shangla administration declared Section 144, imposing a ban on gatherings for a month. However, the PTI activists held a protest against the arrest of the party's chairman Imran Khan, forcing the administration to start a crackdown on them for violating the ban.
He further said that the court directed to keep the PTI chief at the Adiala Jail but he was shifted to the Attock Jail. He added that there is a lack of facilities at the Attock Jail where "B Class" facilities are not provided, ARY News reported.
