The toll in the Doda bus accident has gone up. Thirty-eight people were killed and 17 others injured after the bus fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda on Wednesday.
The death toll in the Doda bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 36 while 6 others are said to be critical, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said in a post on X.
A low-pressure area has been formed over the west-central Bay of Bengal. This system will get intensified and will go northwards. There may be rain on November 15th, 16th, and 17th in east India and northeast India, Soma Sen, a senior scientist with IMD said while speaking to ANI.
"Helicopter service to be arranged for shifting the more injured ones. All possible help, as required being provided. I am in constant touch," Union Minister Jitendra Singh said.
As per the official release, the meeting focused on how to leverage the strengths of each other and domain competence to enhance the protection and security of common villagers and citizens.
