The Income Tax Department is conducting raids in Chennai at several places related to contractors and suppliers of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) and Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDO).
"Based on CCTV we identified the persons who attacked and prevented IT Officials from doing duty. So far we have arrested 10 which includes two DMK Councillors. They were also remanded. More investigation is going on," said Karur Police Official.
