Indian shooter Ganemat Sekhon scored 120 in the women’s skeet qualifying round of the ISSF World Cup Shotgun Lonato 2023 to claim a new national record on Wednesday.

India's six-member Skeet shooting team comprises of senior pro and Olympian Mairaj Ahmad Khan, Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Gurjoat Khangura in Men's Skeet, while Ganemat Sekhon, Darshna Rathore and Maheshwari Chauhan take aim in the Women's Skeet competition.
The event will also serve as a qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympics. The Lonato leg, held at the Trap Concaverde Shooting Range, will be the sixth shotgun competition of the ISSF 2023 calendar.

India finished on top of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Junior in Suhl, Germany, with an overhaul haul of 15 medals, including six gold, six silver and three bronze medals.
