Asserting that the lander and rover of India's third lunar mission have been made from the learnings of Chandrayaan-2 failure, the former Professor of Indian Institute of Astrophysics RC Kapoor on Tuesday said that the Chandrayaan-3 is equipped in every way and its landing will be successful
If any factor regarding the lander module appears unfavourable then the landing will be shifted to August 27, informed the Space Applications Centre-ISRO on Monday.
The former ISRO scientist and Padma Shri awardee said that the Vikram lander now has to take its own action and further it has to separate after which the major event comes.
As the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, which has covered about two-thirds of the distance to the Moon since its launch, successfully entered into the Lunar orbit on Saturday, former ISRO scientist Tapan Mishra said the lunar mission was an illustration of the country breaking new grounds in space

India’s third moon mission, Chandrayaan-3, was successfully launched onboard a Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM-3) rocket from the second launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 2.35 pm on Friday.

A day ahead of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, a team of ISRO scientists on Thursday visited and offered prayers at Tirupathi Venkatachalapathy Temple in Andhra Pradesh with a miniature model of Chandrayaan-3.
