Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a private meeting on Wednesday with UK Foreign Secretary, and former Prime Minister, David Cameron, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.

At the meeting, the PM was joined by the IDF chief of staff, the National Security Council chief, the head of the Mossad, and the Shin Bet chief, as well as cabinet members Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Minister Benny Gantz.
Meanwhile, Israel has started expanding its ground operations to the whole of the Gaza Strip, CNN reported quoting Israel Defence Forces (IDF) on Sunday.

The premier was later asked if he had passed up a serious deal on Tuesday for the release of some 50 hostages and if he was insisting that all be released. Netanyahu responded that "there was no deal on the table" and he could not elaborate further.
Netanyahu also said that Israel's enemies aim to destroy the country and will fail and affirmed that Israel won't stop until victory, he said, specified that this means "to destroy Hamas, return of the hostages and the restoration of security for our citizens and children."
