In retaliation to recent attacks by Iran, Israel during early hours on Friday morning (local time) launched missile strikes against Tehran, ABC News reported citing a senior US official.
Targets included a building in Khan Yunis which served as a headquarters and weapons storage facility. Weapons seized by Israeli forces included ammunition, explosive charges, and 20 mortar shells.
Israeli forces also raided Hamas's General Security Headquarters inside the UN administered refugee camp. Weapons, command and control equipment, observation gear and maps were located in the headquarters.
