Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen met in Paris Wednesday with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna. He also met with representatives of French Jewish communities.
Cohen said they discussed the expansion of cooperation between their two countries in the fields of security, economy and energy and the joint fight against the reign of terror in Tehran.
Cohen said the two foreign ministers discussed strengthening cooperation in the fields of security, economy and energy, and promoting the Hellenic triangle with Greece and Cyprus, which, he said, "will strengthen Israel's position in the region and stability in the Middle East."
There is a plan and we all hope that things will be done this time, Israel's ambassador to India, Naor Gilon said on Tuesday regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to India by the end of this year.
Jaishankar and his Israeli counterpart also discussed cooperation in high tech, digital & innovation, as also connectivity mobility tourism, finance and health. They also took cognizance of the progress in I2U2, and cooperation in multilateral forums.
The Israel Foreign Minister also visited India Gate and along with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, he paid homage at the Teen Murti Haifa Chowk.
Israel Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, who is on a visit to India, on Tuesday said he will raise the issue of the India-Israel Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
