As the Israeli retaliation against Hamas attack entered the fourth day, the Israeli Air Force have launched an extensive attack against terror targets of Hamas in the Gaza strip.
Amid the onslaught by Israeli forces on Gaza following Hamas attacks, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and provided him an update about the ongoing situation
"They were pulling women and children out of their beds and dragging them away to Gaza like monsters out of a fairy tale storybook. Usually, they are much more PR-conscious, and I'm surprised that they would unmask themselves like this," he said.
The Israel Defense Forces' top spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stressed that the military has regained full control of the Gaza border after Hamas terrorists blew up sections of the border fence during the attack on Saturday, reported The Times of Israel.
Speaking to CNN's Kaitlan Collins, Israeli Ambassador Gilad Erdan on late Monday said that their situation would not "prevent us from doing what we need to do in order to secure the future of Israel."
As part of its retaliation against Hamas, Israel has mobilised 3,00,000 troops in the last 48 hours. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari informed about the mobilisation and said the IDF "has never mobilized so many reservists so quickly--300,000 reservists in 48 hours.
Meanwhile, Israel has hit 1707 targets in Gaza since Saturday, including 475 rocket systems, 73 command centres, 23 strategic infrastructure sites and 22 underground targets. In retaliation, it has killed over 400 people in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Among other things, aircraft attacked a building used by the terrorist organisation Hamas in investigations and an operational infrastructure used by Hamas located inside a mosque.
From the southern Israeli town of Sderot, the actor shared a video on social media that showed him accompanied by the president of the Israel Democracy Institute Yohanan Plesner, and journalist Avi Yissascharov.
In a major escalation on October 7 (Saturday), Hamas launched a "surprise attack" on Israel, firing a barrage of rockets into the southern and central parts of the country.
According to the Israel Air Force, the air force also attacked a headquarters spread over an area of three floors and a headquarters associated with the senior Hamas naval force, Muhammad Kashta.
