The Pakistan caretaker federal government challenged the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) decision to declare its notification regarding the jail trial of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan's jail trial in the cypher case as null and void.

During their conversation, the Iranian Foreign Minister emphasised that the attack was on the Iranian terrorist group and that no Pakistani citizens were attacked.
"On Pakistan, none of the nationals of the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan were targeted by Iranian missiles and drones," Abdollahian said on Wednesday on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Earlier, Iran attacked the headquarters of a terrorist group opposed to Tehran with drones and missiles in Pakistan on late hours of Tuesday, Al Arabiya News reported citing Tasnim news agency.
