The Union Home Ministry on Sunday clarified that a proposal aimed solely at simplifying the Central government's law-making process for the Union Territory of Chandigarh is still under consideration and that no final decision has been taken so far.
The remarks came in response to Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani's statement alleging the government of ensuring that "muslim never raise their heads".
