Afghanistan traders, who attended Iran Expo 2025, expressed interest in boosting trade between Afghanistan and India, adding that they also urged governments to make facilities for businessmen of both countries.
Iran Expo 2025 demonstrated the country's increasing significance in international trade markets, which witnessed over 3,100 traders from 111 nations, the media secretariat of Iran Expo 2025 said in a release.
In a significant development for Indo-Iranian trade relations, 57 Indian traders have registered their participation in Iran Expo 2025, signalling growing interest in strengthening bilateral commercial ties despite existing challenges.
"India is the world's second-largest steel producer. With India undergoing rapid infrastructure expansion, we request the Indian government to facilitate Iranian companies by granting them a small share in the steel import market."
The UAE side was chaired by Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and President of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
