EAM S Jaishankar spoke at length at the Indian Embassy in Dublin on varied subjects ranging from the Chinese aggression just after COVID to technological advancements in India and the crisis after the Ukraine Russia war.
In his speech on "India's view of the world" at University College Dublin on Friday, Jaishankar recalled European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's recent visit to India along with 21 Commissioners. He noted that India and the EU have been negotiating for a free trade agreement
He also visited Trinity College where he saw the Old Library. "Fascinating to see the Book of Kells and the Old Library at the Trinity College in Dublin. Indeed a proud celebration of Irish heritage and culture."

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will be on an official visit to the United Kingdom and Ireland from March 4 to 9, during which he will hold discussions to provide renewed impetus to India's friendly ties with both the UK and Ireland.
