Authorities on Tuesday said mobile internet services will remain suspended in Nuh district till August 2, Wednesday, in light of clashes between two groups.
The Haryana Government, in an official notification, has said that the order has been taken to stop the spread of misinformation and rumours through social media platforms.
Ahead of Ashura, the Balochistan government suspended internet services and mobile phones on Wednesday in the provincial capital Quetta to maintain the law and order situation in the city, according to ARY News.
According to the official notification, this order shall be in force for another five days with immediate effect from the time this suspension order becomes operational till 3:00 PM on July 10.
The Manipur government on Sunday extended the ban on internet services in the state for five more days to prevent any disturbances of peace and public order.
