The Peshawar High Court began hearing the petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) challenging the Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) order declaring the intra-party polls illegal and revoking its electoral 'bat' symbol, Geo News reported on Tuesday.
Speaking to ANI about the newly commissioned warship, the Navy Chief said, "The name Imphal is very significant. This is the first time we are naming a major warship after a city in the Northeast of Bharat."
Speaking on the occasion, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "INS Imphal is a symbol of India's growing maritime power and it will strengthen it further. It will bolster our principle of 'Jalmev Yasya, Balmev Tasya' (One Who Controls the Sea is All Powerful) in the Indo-Pacific region."
