INS Mahe, the first of the Mahe-class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC), was commissioned into the Indian Navy by Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Upendra Dwivedi at the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, on Monday.
The three ships were launched after completion of initial construction work. These ships will be equipped with advanced underwater weapons and sensors, and over 80 per cent indigenous content.
