Nepal Foreign Minister NP Saud on Saturday requested the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami for speedy search and rescue of its citizens missing in a landslide in Gaurikund.
"An inquiry committee has been formed regarding the huge amount of water leakage in the tunnel," Uttarkashi District Magistrate (DM) Abhishek Ruhela said.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) supremo urged his party workers to stay peaceful and immediately reach the hospital to donate blood for the injured people. He demanded that the federal and provincial governments provide medical facilities to injured people.

"We have found a dead body at a stranded place in Aluva market. And we have matched the body to the missing child. An inquest has been finished. The child's body was taken to Kalamassery medical college for post-mortem. Further investigations are underway," said police.
