Two persons were killed and 55 others were injured after a bus they were travelling in overturned in Maharashtra's Raigad district, a top police official said on Saturday evening.
In a tragic incident in Maharashtra's Raigad, two people died and 55 were injured after a bus overturned in the Tamhani Ghat area of Raigad at around 7.30 am today, said Police.
One more protestor injured in the clash with Nepali police succumbed to his injuries, taking the death toll in Lalitpur's Balkumari clash to two, as per the police.
The incident occurred at the Government Secondary School Shahjahanabad at around 2:15 pm here in the state capital. 17 students and the teacher were present in the classroom when the incident happened.
Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday mourned the loss of 13 people in a tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Guna, in which 17 others were also injured.
"The incident of a bus catching fire in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, is heartbreaking. May God give strength to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragedy. I wish a speedy recovery for those injured in the incident," the Home Minister posted on 'X'.
"It is a sad incident. I am in constant contact with the Collector and SP. I am visiting Guna right now. I have ordered to carry out an investigation. We will find out how the accident took place and take strict action against the people responsible for this," Yadav told ANI.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed grief over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district which claimed 13 lives and left 17 injured.
