Five bodies have been recovered, and five people are injured after an under-construction building collapsed in the Horamavu Agara area of eastern Bengaluru amid heavy rain, said Bengaluru police sources.
The police initially suspected that a LPG cylinder leak might have caused the fire, but after an inspection of the site, the cylinder was found safe and intact.
The blast occurred while boiling out an old missile at around 10:45 at the factory. The injured have been admitted to Mahakaushal Hospital in the district and efforts are being made to trace the missing person, he added.
