Five people have died after the bus they were travelling in plunged into a 130-foot deep gorge near Saputara in Dang district on Sunday morning. The bus was carrying 48 passengers, and all the injured have been rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
This comes after a stampede-like situation arose at Mahakumbh on January 29, in which at least 30 people were killed and 60 were injured. Till now twenty-five bodies have been identified.
