Thwarting an infiltration bid, Border Security Force has apprehended five Bangladesh nationals along the international border in Meghalaya's West Jaintia Hills, officials said Tuesday.

"In a joint operation, Army and Police have killed four #terrorists in Kala Jungle of Machhal sector in #Kupwara who were trying to infiltrate to our side from POJK," Jammu and Kashmir police said in a tweet.
In a joint operation, the troops of the Indian Army and J-K Police foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishnaghati Sector, Poonch, on the intervening night of June 14-25, an official statement said on Thursday.
"Three terrorists with narcotics and weapons in their possession were injured along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Karmarha sector by Indian Army troops when they were trying to infiltrate. Search operation is going on in the area," officials said.
According to the statement, on the intervening night of April 8-9, Army troops posted on the LoC, in the Poonch sector of Jammu & Kashmir, detected suspicious movements of some individuals.
