Members of the Indian diaspora in Jakarta have lauded the multi-party Indian delegation for its unified stance and efforts in countering misinformation on the global stage.
Khurshid highlighted the apparent chaos within Pakistan, citing factions within the army vying for power and the civilian government's lack of control. Despite this, he praised India's restraint and patience in the face of such challenges.

Former Minister of External Affairs and Congress leader Salman Khurshid on Friday clarified that India did not initiate contact with Pakistan, but rather received a call from Pakistan's DGMO for cessation of hostilities during Operation Sindoor.
"We have all been doing our bit...I might have differences with the ruling party, but I will not let my political interest come before my nation's interest. I will keep working towards what is in the best interest of my nation," he told the Indian diaspora in Jakarta.

CPI (M) MP John Brittas, who is part of the all-party delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, said the country understands India's concerns about terrorism and has declared its intent to support India.
The all-party parliamentary delegation member, JP MP Aparajita Sarangi on Friday highlighted that everyone they met in Indonesia condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and Pakistan and appreciated India's efforts to promote peace and eliminate terrorism.
He also thanked Indonesia for supporting India's stand on terrorism, thwarting Pakistan's effort to criticise India on the Kashmir issue at a recent meeting of OIC Parliamentary Union held in Jakarta.
The all-party parliamentary delegation led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, currently on an official visit to Indonesia, paid floral tribute to the Mahatma Gandhi Statue at the Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School in Jakarta on Friday.
