Border Security Force (BSF) troops patrolling the Indo-Pak border in Ferozepur district foiled a major drug smuggling attempt, recovering a total of three packets containing approximately 3 kilograms of suspected heroin on Friday, said BSF official.
As per the order issued by District Magistrate Abhishek Sharma on Sunday, the step aims to prevent cross-border infiltration and weapon smuggling through drones during the foggy weather conditions along the Indo-Pak border line.
