The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and IndiGo on Wednesday successfully conducted validation flight of Required Navigation Process Authorization Required procedure at Kathmandu Airport.
As per a DGCA statement, "An IndiGo Delhi-Chennai flight (6E-2789) safely returned to Indira Gandhi International Airport within an hour of take-off on Saturday night following a snag in engine".
Detailing the incident the release said, "A passenger travelling on flight 6E 308 from Delhi to Bangalore tried opening the flap of the emergency exit in an inebriated state."
