The Odisha government has extended full support to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other concerned authorities for an effective response and investigation into the force-landing of an IndiaOne Air's Caravan 208 aircraft in Rourkela, Jharkhand.
The Odisha government responded promptly by alerting the Directorate team and initiating coordination with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) after an IndiaOne Air type of aircraft (Caravan 208) bearing Regn. VT-KSS, which was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela, force-lande
India One Air type of aircraft (Caravan 208) bearing Regn. VT-KSS, which was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela, force landed at a place near Jalda, when it was 8 Nautical miles short of reaching Rourkela, according to a release by the Directorate of Aviation.
"I have directed that the immediate best medical services be provided to those injured in this incident. I am personally monitoring the situation. I am praying at the feet of Lord Sri Jagannath for the swift recovery of all," the CM wrote.
Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday virtually inaugurated IndiaOne Air's Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) Flight Operations for Jamshedpur-Kolkata under the UDAN scheme.
