According to a release. Odisha's Department of Commerce & Transport/Directorate of Aviation has extended comprehensive logistical support to expedite the availability of the investigation team and expert medical professionals for the timely assessment and treatment of patients.
A State helicopter has been deployed to facilitate the movement of the investigation team and senior doctors to Rourkela. Officers of the Directorate of Aviation are camping at Rourkela and are extending all necessary on-ground support to the district administration. The Principal Secretary, Commerce Transport Department, will be in charge of overall coordination and supervision, the release stated.
The Odisha government stated that all passengers are safe and stable, with one passenger remaining under close and continuous medical observation.
"Senior specialist doctors from Bhubaneswar are also being deputed to Rourkela to provide further treatment, expert supervision, and continued monitoring, with full support from the State Government," the release stated.
Earlier, the government launched a DGCA probe after an IndiaOne Air aircraft (Caravan 208) bearing Regn. VT-KSS, which was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela, force-landed at a place near Jalda when it was 8 nautical miles short of reaching Rourkela.

"A regular India One flight operating from Bhubaneswar met with an accident near Rourkela, around 8-10 kilometres before reaching its destination," he added.
Six individuals, including two crew members and four passengers, sustained injuries due to the impact of the accident and are currently under medical treatment in nearby hospitals. (ANI)
