During the inquiry, police said it learned that the deceased was mixing masala in the mixer grinder on the second floor when he apparently suffered an electric shock.
Following the incident, a team of police was called to inspect the spot. Based on their initial investigation, a case under section 304 A of the IPC has been registered at Preet Vihar police station.
Special team of South-East Delhi Police on Saturday apprehended three persons in connection with an assault and a mobile theft in South-East Delhi, officials said.
The police said that they received a PCR call regarding the incident at KNK Marg police station. A case has been registered against the accused under FIR No. 286/23 under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code at KNK Marg police station.
"We have registered a case against the Indian Penal Code section 153. We will seek information about the account holder from the Twitter company. Whether the tweet was put up by the account holder itself or any other person, it will be clarified after an investigation," added Bhadoriya.
All ten convicts in the 2019 Tabrez Ansari lynching case have been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by Jharkhand's Seraikela court under section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
"The body of a woman was recovered inside a gunny bag in Mumbai's Worli area. As soon as Police received the information, our teams reached the spot, and took the body in custody," said the officials.
Four people were injured, including an elderly man after a car met with an accident near All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, police said.
"After the Embassy of France detected the fraud and informed the agency, a case has been registered against both the couples under Indian Penal Code sections of fraud, forgery criminal conspiracy and under passport act," said a senior official.
