Mortal remains of Havildar Biresh Sinha, who died along with four other jawans in an Indian army chopper crash incident in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district, reached his native village in Ratabari in Assam's Karimganj district.
"We are against war but peace cannot be there without strength," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said and noted that India never considered war as the first option.
"Challenges increased with continuous snowfall, but surveillance is tighter than ever. Our happiness lies in prosperous celebrations across the country," said an Indian Army soldier.
