In another significant step towards restoring peace and security in Manipur, many operations were conducted in the early hours of Tuesday by Security Forces (SFs) in the valley districts namely Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching, and Bishnupur.
Security forces have apprehended 10 cadres from the hill and valley-based groups in Manipur and recovered 35 weapons, 11 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), grenades, ammunition and war-like stores, said the Indian Army.
This event highlighted the evolving face of modern warfare, where UAVs, AI-driven systems, loitering munitions, and autonomous platforms were redefining battlefield dynamics.
While speaking to ANI, Manavar Hussain Khan, BJP Mandal President, Balakot, said, "A tournament was sponsored by the Indian Army 49 RR. This tournament was organised in collaboration with the civil society. On behalf of 49 RR, I would like to thank the CO and especially Major Utsav Kumar."
