Ravichandran Ashwin lauded the young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal after he ended the first day of his debut Test with 40* against West Indies on Wednesday at Windsor Park.
At the end of Day 1, India managed to put up a score of 80/0 with Rohit and Jaiswal unbeaten on the crease with respective scores of 30(65)* and 40(73)* respectively.
At the end of the second session, West Indies registered a score of 137/8 with Kemar Roach and Rahkeem Cornwall unbeaten with scores of 0(9) and 17(21) respectively.
