India and US army personnel are training together to bolster interoperability and enhance synergy between forces of both nations in the 20th edition of the Joint Military Exercise 'Yudh Abhyas 2024.'
Puri and Pyatt discussed how the cooperation between two nations is strengthening in the energy sector due to collaboration between the institutions and companies from India and the US.
During the meeting in Washington, DC, on Monday, the two sides reviewed the initiatives undertaken across the technical pillars under the SCEP, including Power and Energy Efficiency, Responsible Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Emerging Fuels and Technologies, and Sustainable Growth.
Hailing the India-US bilateral cooperation, US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources and former US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma, said the progress in ties was "unimaginable" a few decades ago.
"When PM Modi assumed responsibility in May 2014, we were only blending 1.5 per cent of our total fuel with bio-fuel. PM set a target of 10 per cent blending by November 2022, we were able to do that 5 months in advance," Puri said.
In a press release, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha said that they offered prayers for those who committed this crime to be released of their hatred and see common humanity.
