Minister Piyush Goyal is set to fly to Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit starting Tuesday. The commerce ministry, in a statement, said Goyal's visit aims to further deepen the India-Saudi Arabia strategic partnership and explore new avenues of trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
The Strategic Partnership Council (SPC) agreement was signed in 2019 which established a high-level council to steer the Indo-Saudi relationship. The SPC has two sub-committees - Committee on Political, Security, Social and Cultural Cooperation and Committee on Economy and Investments.
