Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged citizens to adopt Swadeshi and prioritise Made in India products, as the newly approved Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms come into effect from September 22, the first day of 'Shardiya Navaratri'.
Referring to PM Modi's mostly addressing the nation in the late evening, he said, "The Prime Minister used to address the nation at 8 PM, but today it was at 5 PM, perhaps because tonight at 8 PM there is the India vs Pakistan match."

Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh on Sunday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement that "terror and trade cannot go together" questioning, "how are blood and games going together?" referring to the India-Pakistan cricket match.
Speaking to ANI, Maurya said that the match is going ahead due to certain complusions related to participation in international competitions while admitting that no Indian wants this fixture to happen.
