External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday emphasised that India-Japan ties will both draw strength from our larger activities together, especially from the Quad.
The statement came after EAM Jaishankar and his Japanese counterpart, Yoko Kamikawa, co-chaired the 16th India-Japan Foreign Ministers Strategic Dialogue in Tokyo.
Hailing India's growth story, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Thursday that it is important that Japan today appreciate the pace of change in India.
Lauding the ties between India and Japan, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that both countries enjoy a special strategic and global partnership with the intent to meet the challenges facing the global order.
The External Affairs Ministry has said that India shares a very expansive, broad-based, multifaceted relationship with S Korea and during the upcoming visit of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to the nation, all aspects of this relationship would be discussed.
"EAM's visits to the Republic of Korea and Japan, two of our major partners, will impart further momentum to bilateral exchanges and set the agenda for future cooperation," the MEA said in a statement.
Japan's Ambassador to India, Hiroshi Suzuki on Monday held a ceremony on Monday to celebrate the conferral of the Foreign Minister's Commendation 2023 upon Dr Alka Kumar, the President of Konnichiwa Japan Club.
