The inauguration ceremony, which was held on Wednesday, was attended by the CEO of T-Hub Hyderabad, Consul General of France in Bangalore, Thierry Berthelot, and Telengana Minister for Information and Technology, D Sridhar Babu, an official release said.
Secretary General of the French Foreign Affairs Ministry, Anne-Marie Descotes, met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Tuesday and discussed the deepening of India-France ties.
In the meeting, "both sides undertook a comprehensive review of the progress made in various facets of bilateral cooperation, as outlined in the ambitious India France Horizon 2047 Roadmap, adopted during Prime Minister's historic visit to France as Guest of Honour at the French National Day
During the meeting, both sides reviewed progress made since the first India-France Strategic Space Dialogue and discussed the ongoing robust bilateral engagement in the space sector and avenues for further cooperation in the G2G and commercial segments.
Jaishankar expressed confidence that the Foreign Office Consultations and Strategic Space Dialogue between the two nations will further enhance the momentum of India-France ties.
French Navy Chief Admiral Nicolas Vaujour on Friday emphasised that India and France have a strategic partnership and both countries are working closely, especially in the Indian Ocean.
"Pleased to meet the visiting Parliamentary delegation headed by @gerard_larcher, President of the French Senate. A fruitful discussion on the India-France strategic partnership and the convergence on so many global issues," EAM Jaishankar said in a post on X.
H.E. Mr. Gerard Larcher, Chairman of the French Senate, is on an official visit to India on February 19 and 20, 2024, accompanied by a delegation of five senators. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and parliamentary cooperation between France and India.
