Delhi Police on Wednesday formed a team to trace the passenger who had allegedly urinated on an elderly co-passenger onboard an Air India flight from New York to Delhi in November last year, said officials.
The National Commission for Women has taken cognisance of the incident onboard the Air India flight in which the inebriated male passenger also flashed his private parts at the elderly woman.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Wednesday took cognisance of the incident onboard an Air India New York-Delhi flight in which an inebriated male passenger allegedly peed on an elderly woman and flashed his private parts, in November last year.
"Delhi-Paris flight AI-143 return back to the bay at Delhi airport after the aircraft detected snag (flap issues) in the aircraft. The flight was landed safely at the airport," said Air India.
A First Information Report (FIR) is being filed by the Delhi Police on Wednesday in the case where a man in an inebriated state onboard an Air India US flight and allegedly urinated on a woman co-passenger, a senior citizen, seated in a business class seat.
The female passenger who suffered the latest incident of urination by an inebriated male passenger on an Air India US flight, called the flight experience extremely traumatic and expressed deep disappointment over the incident that occurred during the business class trip.
India's Aviation security body Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has taken strong cognizance of the viral video in which the passengers were shown of Thai Smile Airways fighting during a flight.
An Air India flight arrived at Gannavaram Airport with 140 passengers from Sharjah. Four passengers underwent the Covid tests at the Gannavaram International Airport.
Passengers carried by domestic airlines in India during January- November 2022 were at 1,105.10 lakhs as against 726.11 lakhs during the corresponding period of the previous year, registering an annual growth of 52.19 per cent.
