In a shocking incident, an ex-corporator from the BJP and his wife and their two children - who were suffering from muscular dystrophy - died by suicide in Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday evening, said the police.
The incident occurred at the Panchayat Bhawan in Pankhuri Number 2 village under Jamodi police station limits in the district. The accused has been identified as Amresh Dwivedi and Nikku Dwivedi, residents of the same village.
The incident occurred at GTB road in Dhubri town where a four-wheeler, in which the victims were travelling, collided with a truck and two motorcycles parked on the roadside.
The police received a call regarding the incident at 2 AM in the Dwarka North police station after which the police immediately rushed to the spot.
An auto driver was killed who suffered stabbing injuries on his neck, as per the officials of the police station.

In a video of the incident, which went viral on social media, the accused are purportedly seen thrashing the victim, identified as Prakash Yadav. The incident tok place in the Makhan Nagar police station limits in the district on Wednesday.
A twelve-year-old girl, who was abducted from her school in the Anand Vihar area of Delhi, was found by the police within 24 hours of the incident from Chandigarh, police said on Thursday.
"Nothing happened inside our university, an attempt was made but it was completely foiled. Whatever happened, happened on the streets. It was a small incident blown out of proportion. Our precautionary measures were good," Akthar told ANI.
