Delhi police sources revealed earlier that Lalit Jha, the accused in Parliament security breach incident, destroyed five mobile phones before arriving in Delhi, and was misleading the investigating team.

"We received information that a truck had rammed into a tea stall. As per the information till now, three persons have died due to the incident and three are injured and undergoing treatment," Etawah Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar Verma said, speaking to reporters.
Three days following the security breach in the Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attributed the incident to 'unemployment' and 'inflation,' linking it to the policies of the BJP-led Centre.
Speaking to ANI on the incident in Chandrapur, Mungantiwar said, "Whether it is an officer's son or some big leader's son, he will have to bear the whip of the law and Constitution. No matter who it is, if they have committed this crime, then they would be punished."
"Despite the Karnataka High Court's restrictions, the BJP leaders have visited the victimised woman who was partially stripped in a village in Belagavi district, thus not only flouting the court's directive but also displaying their insensitivity," Siddaramaiah said in a post on X.
Speaking to ANI, BJP MP and member of the fact-finding team Aprajita Sarangi said, "It's extremely unfortunate that the entire Gandhi family is keeping mum on this incident. Neither Sonia Gandhi nor Priyanka Gandhi, being women have said anything. As far as Rahul Gandhi is concerned he is a
"JP Nadda and the BJP are doing politics over this issue. Atrocities did happen to that woman. Whatever legal action needed to be taken has been taken by the government. Our home minister met the victim. The accused was arrested immediately," said the Chief Minister.
Speaking to ANI on the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) said, "The incident took place around 4 a.m. on Monday near a hotel on Ghodbunder Road, where the woman had gone to meet Ashwajit Gaikwad."
Three days following the security breach in the Parliament, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wrote a letter to all Members of Parliament, asserting that there is no connection between the security breach and the recent suspension of 13 MPs from the Lower House.
