West Bengal on May 8 had imposed a ban on screening of the film in the State to avoid "any incident of hatred and violence and to maintain peace in the State".
According to the police, "A PCR call was received at 1.40 am stating that firing had been noticed neat Jama Masjid. Upon receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and found that the injured had been shifted to a hospital where he was declared brought dead."
Trinamool Congress (TMC) Rajya Sabha MP Dola Sen on Wednesday said that there is no need to politicize the West Bengal factory blast incident in which nine people lost their lives.
