Prime Minister Narendra Modi who attended the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit on Tuesday said that the Summit will go a long way in highlighting the growth opportunities in the state.
"The most delightful news is the semiconductor plant approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Assam. The construction of the plant is progressing well, and by next year, 'Made in India' chips will establish the pride of both India and Assam," he added.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday termed the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit as a landmark event in Assam's industrial journey and said that the summit will mark a new era of growth and opportunity.
