Pakistan's Punjab province interim government gave a 24-hour ultimatum to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hand over "30-40 terrorists who have taken refuge" in former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Zaman Park residence in Lahore, Geo News reported.

Notably, Khan had filed a plea on Saturday, a day after being released on bail from Islamabad High Court (IHC), against all new cases registered against him.
Despite Section 144 still being in effect in the capital city, demonstrators from various political parties, including JUI-F employees and sympathisers, converged on Islamabad. Many of them entered the Red Zone, according to Geo News.

According to the details, Bushra Bibi's lawyer Khawaja Haris had requested a 10-day protective bail for her. The high court accepted the request and approved her bail until May 23.
