The newly appointed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) general secretary Omar Ayub Khan on Sunday alleged that Islamabad Police raided his house and also stole his vehicle.
Khan in a meeting with journalists and lawyers at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore on Saturday said: "If I am disqualified, Shah Mahmood Qureshi will run the party."
The party (PTI) while taking to Twitter, said that the seven-member committee, which will be headed by Shah Mahmood Qureshi, will decide the plan of action with the government regarding the elections.
Following the resignation of key PTI officials, the party's financial structure has suffered a severe blow. According to party leaders, employees in PTI's nine regional and district offices across the country are not receiving their salaries, Express News reported.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding member and former Sindh governor Imran Ismail on Saturday resigned from all party positions in another major blow to Imran Khan which landed the party in trouble following the May 9 riots, The Express Tribune reported.

Zaidi announced of his resignation from all PTI posts and said in a video message that he had joined politics for Pakistan and had already condemned the May 9 incidents.
Maryam made the speech in Pakistan's Vehari while addressing the PML-N's youth convention. During her address, she talked about the incidents on May 9, the day on which the PTI chief was arrested, triggering violent protests countrywide.
