In a huge relief, embattled former Pakistan Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan was granted interim bail by a Lahore anti-terrorism court on Tuesday in three cases, reported Geo News.
The PTI chief, in the petitions filed in the IHC on Monday, sought protective bail in seven cases registered against him at Golra, Bara Kahu, Ramna, Khanna, and CTD police stations.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh dismissed the petition and directed Imran Khan's counsel to present the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman in court on February 19.
A terror case was registered against the leaders of PTI, including party's chairman Imran Khan, secretary-general Asad Umar and 100 other party workers for alleged violence during the protests.
