Chidambaram said that the parties opposing the 'three-language formula' under the New Education Policy are not dividing the nation but only opposing the "imposition" of Hindi.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday said that except the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), all parties have extended their support to their resolution against the three language formula, adding that nobody is against any language but cannot accept any language imposition.
Naidu's comments come amid Stalin again accusing the Union government of 'Hindi imposition' and refusing to implement the three-language formula laid out in the NEP.
