The National Capital Territory of Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 1.5 degrees in the Delhi ridge on Saturday as the cold wave continues to grip northern India. As a result, many parts of Delhi are covered in thick and dense fog.
Giant Fog and low clouds continued to cover an area of 10 lakh sq km over Pakistan-India-Bangladesh across north and central and eastern parts of India on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department said.
Parts of North India including the national capital witnessed cold wave conditions with dense to very dense fog observed over Punjab, Haryana, northwest Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar for the second morning on the trot on Friday morning, the forecast department said.
