PDP leader Iltija Mufti has strongly criticized the Jammu and Kashmir administration over the suspension of her two Personal Security Officers (PSOs), questioning the government's priorities.
"Not only in Kulgam but Budgam and Ganderbal, young boys are being picked up and I want to ask the government are all of them militants? Why are they looking at everyone with suspicion? This is wrong," Mufti told reporters here.
People's Democratic Party (PPD) leader Iltija Mufti accused the chief minister Omar Abdullah-led Jammu and Kasmir of cancelling atleast 1.5 ration cards.
"People here are not against development. The development at the expense of their livelihood is not acceptable to them at all. Here, the loss exceeds the profit. We are standing here at a spot where there is a forest behind us and orchards are in front of us," the PDP leader told reporter
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravinder Raina on Monday described People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Iltija Mufti's statement calling Hindutva a "disease" as "irresponsible and objectionable" and termed it an attempt to create a 'divide' in the society.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) National Spokesperson Vinod Bansal slammed People's Democratic Party leader Iltija Mufti for calling Hindutva a "disease," and said that with "anti-India ideology" one cannot do politics for long.
"Some people have developed a phobia of Hindutva, and those with such a phobia of Hindutva should study about it once. They should understand," Naqvi added.
