Chinar Warriors, in a joint operation with Jammu and Kashmir police, recovered and destroyed an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) along Bandipora-Srinagar road, the Army said on Wednesday.
The two IED's along with other naxal materials were recovered from the jungles during a joint operation of Chaibasa police and CRPF under Tonto police station limits, police said.
Religious scholar and founder of banned group Lashkar-i-Islam, Mufti Munir Shakir, was killed in a bomb blast on Saturday on the outskirts of Peshawar, Pakistan, ARY News reported citing police officials.
