The troupe from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), jointly with the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, on Thursday showcased Kathak dance in two different locations in the touristic city of Pokhara in the Kaski District of Nepal.
"Abhay Kumar (IFS: 2003), presently Deputy Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Georgia," the MEA said in a statement.

The inaugural session included a welcome address by Neil Anthony Koorbanally, Professor of Organic Chemistry, College Dean of Research, at the University of Kwazulu-Natal.
'International Award for Promotion of Buddhism' was conferred on Venerable Sitagu Sayadaw Dr Ashin Nyanissara by DG ICCR Kumar Tuhin. Dignitaries and friends from across Myanmar, and members of the Indian community, joined the ceremony, as per the Embassy of India in Myanmar.
