Indian Air Force Chief VR Chaudhari met Sri Lanka Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena on the second day of his four-day visit to the island nation and discussed bilateral ties.
"A group of 14 Indian evacuees departs from Jeddah onboard a flight for Mumbai," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said in a tweet.
"22nd batch of evacuees leaves Port Sudan. 135 passengers are flying to Jeddah onboard IAF C-130J aircraft," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted on Thursday.
As part of the ongoing visit, the chief of the Indian Air Force, VR Chaudhari called on the President of Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Indian Air Force said on Wednesday.
"20th batch of evacuees arrives in Jeddah from Port Sudan. IAF C-130J flight brings 116 evacuees," the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia said in the statement.
"20th batch of evacuees departs from Port Sudan. IAF C-130J flight with 116 passengers is en route to Jeddah," Ministry of External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said in a tweet.
The 18th batch of Indian evacuees was carried from Port Sudan to Jeddah, where they will be brought to India under Operation Kaveri. Sudan is currently reeling under the conflict of rival factions of military and para-military forces.

"#OperationKaveri IAF C-130 J flight brings 17th batch of evacuees from Port Sudan to Jeddah. 122 Indians evacuated by this flight," tweeted Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
The CAS is visiting Sri Lanka at the invitation of the Commander of Sri Lankan Air Force, Air Marshal SK Pathirana, according to a release issued by the Ministry of Defence.
"9th outbound flight departs from Jeddah. 186 passengers onboard this flight are flying to Kochi," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted.
