Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Vikram Dev Dutt has been appointed as the next director general in the Directorate of General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The Indian Air Force will carry out Exercise Pralay involving all its major air bases in the northeast including the recently moved drone squadrons in the northeast amid the ongoing stand-off with China, informed officials.
The three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) transferred to Delhi are Manish Kumar Gupta (1991-batch), Sanjay Kumar Jha (2008-batch), and Arun Mishra (2010-batch). Indian Police Service (IPS) Rajendra Singh Sagar (2010-batch) has also been transferred to Delhi.
Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi on Monday said that the agency is expanding its presence in Ukraine to provide all possible nuclear safety and security.
"On the recommendations of the Civil Services Board, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to order the transfers and postings of Indian Administrative Service officers, with immediate effect, in the public interest" the official statement read.
The Prachand Light Combat Helicopters were inducted into the Air Force on October 3 last year and have been flying extensively in the desert sector since then.
The Director General will travel to the South Ukraine and Rivne Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) as well as to the Chornobyl site to launch the missions consisting of two IAEA experts at each of the facilities.
